As a parent of a child with learning needs, I am truly grateful for the tutoring services provided by Micaa Kindergarten Prep and Tutoring. The tutoring provided for my son is individualized to meet his instructional needs. He has made great gains and progress in reading and writing. More importantly, my son’s confidence in his abilities has increased and he enjoys going to school and tutoring.

My child loves MICAA and is excited to see the teachers every week. The program is fantastic and adapts to my child’s needs. My child learned foundational skills like recognizing letters and sounds, counting, and following directions, as well as developing essential communication skills through play-based learning.

The program provides an environment that encourages growth and fosters a love of learning in a fun and engaging way. My child is much more confident and eager to learn. I highly recommend this program to any parent looking to support their child’s academic development and readiness for kindergarten. It truly gave my child the best possible educational start and the confidence to boost communication skills. We are forever grateful to MICAA for their help and support for my child’s development.

Our son started his MICAA journey at the end of November 2023, nearing the end of the 1st half of the year of second grade.  This came after we needed to have a learning test done which resulted in him having dyslexia and dyscalculia.  Urgent intervention was advised to help him with these learning challenges as it was also affecting him socially and emotionally at school along with his ability to do his homework.  By the end of second grade, he received positive feedback and praise from his teacher complementing him on his huge growth as a reader, writer and social/emotional skills.  Then during the summer of 2023, we focused on fun classes of his choice for summer school and continued with 4 hours a week of tutoring for the academic portion.  By the start of third grade he was reading chapter books, enjoyed reading and we received amazingly positive feedback from his teacher.

We are beyond thankful to Alissa and Cari for helping our son. Alissa squeezed him into their schedule knowing the urgency.  As parents we made this our top priority to commit to 4 hrs per week so they could help him. Through their specialized OG method teaching and the relationship they built, our son has thrived with minimal additional support from us.  We are forever grateful to them and all their efforts to help our son and the partnership we formed to support his learning.

Hi…our testimonial  Mason has been working with MICAA for the last couple of years, and I am so happy we chose to come here! Cari is patient, accommodating, and a fantastic teacher who can make his sessions both educational and fun. Mason has made steady progress over the last couple of years, and I feel confident that MICAA has played a significant role in his gains. Up until a couple of years ago, we were trying to do it all on our own. The stress and anxiety started to overwhelm us, and we feel grateful that we found such great people that could share the burden and help us give my son the best chance to achieve whatever he dreams to become. So we always talk about our day at the end of the night before bed. And I just have to share with you what Tytus said. He said “ mom, I feel good when I go to aunty Cari. I feel like I’m really learning stuff. Like I feel it in my brain. Not like Kumon that I already know and not like school.” Thanks guys for making my lil guy feel

We love, MICAA! Our son is a fifth grader and has been working with their tutors for six months now. They are all kind, compassionate and caring. They have incredible patience, and a wealth of knowledge to help their students. We are lucky to have found them!

When schools closed at the beginning of the pandemic, I ambitiously bought a bunch of homeschooling material for my 4 year old but oh boy, after a couple of months, everything went down hill and he fought me to  homeschool him!  That is when I found MICAA who took over throughout the pandemic and he enjoyed his tutoring sessions!  We are so grateful with how the staff kept changing things up to keep my son engaged!  Now I want MICAA to assist my son with executive function skills.
